You Were Formed Under God’s Authority—Not the World’s

Let’s untangle the lies and return to what’s true.

What If the Real Problem Is Distorted Authority?

Too many of us were shaped by authority that wasn’t just misplaced—it was misused, distorted, or outright abused - by parents, partners, pastors, institutions, and ideologies that left us anxious, distrustful, and disconnected from ourselves and God.

When authority is placed in the world, it leads to:

  • Codependence and chronic performance

  • Disconnection from your body and emotions

  • Elevating man-made theories over biblical truth

  • Distrusting God while clinging to credentials, titles, or other people

  • A craving for control that never brings peace

Authority in the world leads to fear, disease, depletion, and disconnection - it extracts from your body, soul, and spirit.

But when authority is returned to God, something changes:

  • There’s space to breathe, to rest, to heal

  • Honesty replaces self-protection

  • Control loosens, trust deepens

  • You stop performing and start living

  • You feel whole—because you’re rooted in what’s true

Authority in God is regenerative, nourishes, and restores - it brings truth, presence, humility, and joy.

How Authority Gets Distorted

Relational hurt can alter how we experience God, ourselves, and truth. You may have encountered:

  • Family of origin trauma — parents or siblings who misused their authority

  • Romantic betrayal — giving trust to someone who couldn’t hold it

  • Institutional harm — from bosses, doctors, therapists, or pastors

  • Spiritual confusion — being taught about God by people who didn’t reflect Him well

Over time, these experiences plant harmful beliefs:

  • Hurt means something is wrong with me

  • Hurt defines who I am

  • Hurt means I don’t matter

  • Hurt should never happen—and if it does, it’s my fault

Left unexamined, these beliefs begin to shape everything:

  • Your view of God

  • Your relationship with truth

  • Your sense of identity

  • Your capacity to receive healing

But it doesn’t have to stay that way.

My Work

My work is about helping you return to alignment—body, soul, and spirit—under the authority of God.

I offer 60-minute private sessions, typically meeting with clients weekly

Some clients with me for just a season. Others stay for a year or more. There’s no pressure, no timeline—just the pace that honors where you are and where you’re going.

In our work together, I blend:

  • Christian Counseling — to gently process your thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences

  • Coaching — to support identity work, self-reflection, and meaningful movement forward

  • Psychosomatics — to help you feel safe in your body and uncover what it’s holding

  • Nervous System Regulation — to build capacity and restore balance after years of fight, flight, or freeze

  • Spirit-Led Prayer — to invite the Holy Spirit into the healing process—not as a supplement, but as the Source

This isn’t about fixing yourself.

It’s about partnering with God to remember who you are and walk in the truth of that identity.

I don’t see myself as your authority. Jesus holds that role.

I’m here as a witness, a guide, and a friend who’s walked the path.

Together, we listen to what’s surfacing in your body, we ask good questions, we invite God in, and we honor your pace.

You Might Be Experiencing

I work with women and men navigating painful family dynamics, early childhood wounds, divorce, burnout, and chronic health struggles—especially the kind that don’t show up on paper but linger in the body, in the nervous system, in the spirit.

Many come looking for direction, purpose, and peace that doesn’t require them to disconnect from their bodies or abandon their faith.

You might be walking through relational trauma, an unexpected ending, or a season that’s left you emotionally and spiritually unsteady.

You may feel stuck in looping thoughts or shut down entirely. Maybe you’re numb, or constantly on edge. You want to hear from God—but aren’t sure how. You want peace—but feel afraid of what will happen if you stop managing it all.

You may be carrying spiritual grief, disconnected from your emotions, unsure how to trust your own inner knowing.

You’re likely craving clarity and discernment, but not the kind that skips over your pain. You want honesty.

You want to grow. You want to move forward—but in a way that feels true, grounded, and led by something greater than you.
